Why Raw Milk?

Raw milk is unprocessed and full of beneficial probiotics and health benefits. It is easier to digest, higher in important vitamins, and less likely to cause digestive problems or allergies. 


Pasteurized milk has been heated to high temperatures in order to kill harmful pathogens, but when this is done, not only does it kill all the beneficial bacteria, it also destroys important enzymes making the milk harder to digest. Another side effect of pasteurization is that it reduces the overall nutrient content of several key vitamins. Lastly, pasteurization can also alter the proteins in the milk leading to digestive problems as well as promoting the development of allergies. 


Most conventional milk is also homogenized. During this process the fat particles are altered and made so small that they are able to avoid digestion and leak directly into the bloodstream. This can cause widespread inflammation, digestive problems, and the development of allergies and other health problems. 


Many people with milk sensitivities and allergies find they are able to consume dairy again once they kick conventional milk to the curb and embrace raw milk. Not only does it not hurt you, it can even help heal damaged and unhealthy digestive systems.
